Welcome: For members and guests alike, the staff are happy to introduce you to a new, unique animal roleplay: Owls. We're a close, literate community (always aiming to improve our skills) and open to the public for the first time!
As one of the few sites out there that focus on a unique animal, many of our members (including ourselves) are fleshing out characters that we've never had an opportunity to roleplay before. Don't let intimidation stop you from joining, we're a friendly and patient community. ^^ Your staff encourage you to drop by the cbox if you have any questions or concerns, as we're willing to help out with any problems.
We've seen numerous guests over the past few days, many of which have stopped by to give us amazing compliments or have become wonderful new members. We'd like to take a moment to thank you all for your wonderful support! Don't forget to check out our new (updated) news section for further information! We hope to see you all on the boards. <3

There are very little trees in the Northern Lands. Instead there are many low hills that cover the southern tip of the land. There are trees that dot the area, but they are usually very small and tin, more like saplings.
Apart from the hills, the rest of the north is flat plains. This isn't as bad as it could be, because the open lands provides the flat lands needed for the owls to hunt. The few trees around and give them a high perch when hunting.
The Northern owls have lived in their world for generations, unlike the Southern outcasts from the East and West. So the birds here have found comfort in their cold and frozen land, although it differs from the South in many ways.
The Eastern part of the wide continent of the East and West is a large expanse of forest. Small streams and creeks cover the lower land and the whole wood is covered in trees hollowed by past owls. The forest is now quiet since the Tribes were forced out.
The West is just as lush as the East. Apart from trees covering the area thickly, the West also has small rolling hills at its shores. Small owls once used the open hills to burrow and make holes to live, for those that didn't use the trees.
Although the distance between the far west to the far east can be over a month, the land is still one place and the owls share it as such. However after the War Birds took over, them made the land more like one large forest.
A small score of mountains and low-lying hills sit up at the high north of the land. They cover the feet of Mt. Con, a huge mountain that can be seen from ever corner of the Southern Lands.
The only packed trees in the Southern Lands are called Hy's Wood. The Southern Tribes have made this their home, hunting on the open plains and hills, and returning to the carved trees where they keep their young. In the past they were forced to use caves in the mountains, but have since started to live in the trees like the past.
In the far south it's hard to live. The Tribe that once lived over the East and Western forests have been banished by war and power seeking owls that now lay claim to their old land. In the mean time, the Southern owls are forced to live together to survive in this harsh world.
Looking for a mate? To fill a brood? Maybe to make some friends or enemies? Then this board is for you! Find open broods and more! Before you can advertise a brood, however, you must have it accepted.

It wasn't long ago when we were safe and sound in our green forests in the east and west. But just as our young were taking flight to start their own lives, the War Birds came.
They ripped the land from our talons, killed many of us, and showered our home in our own blood. Finally, the fight ended and our Tribes were forced to look for new land. In the far south we thought we might be saved, but blizzards aren't kind to the world down there, and more of us were lost.
Now, the elders and high council have a plan to send five youngsters on a voyage to the high north, in hopes that the owls there will help us reclaim our land.
